ABOUT
Chester Lee's career in tattooing began when he gave himself his first tattoo when he was 13. Not one to shy away from the unconventional route, he self-taught himself the ropes of the then unorthodox career path. Since then, Chester has experimented with Oriental pieces and Neo-Traditional ink. However in recent years, Chester shot to international fame with his massive blackout work, taking it to a higher level of artistry, with clean lines, perfectly even coverage and stunning framing. Chester hones his skills by experimenting with various ideas on trusting clients who devotes their 'clean canvas' to him.
Known to travel extensively for inspiration and to tattoo his existing base of international clients, Chester can be reached at his own personal studio, located in Singapore when he isn't abroad.

FAQ
DOES GETTING A TATTOO HURT?
Yes. The pain of a tattoo is often likened to a mild burning sensation or a cat scratch. Some areas hurt more than others, however, at the end of it all, you will have sacrificed your suffering for a permanent body adornment.
HOW MUCH FOR SOMETHING THIS BIG?
A rough estimate based on actual dimensions can be given, but until you have come down for a consultation, nothing is absolute.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT, CAN YOU JUST DRAW SOMETHING?
The beauty of tattoos is that it is a collaboration between an artist and client. With your story, idea, preferences, we can work together and uncover what it is you actually do want and will pay for. There are tons of books, flash and if all else fails, internet access to help you narrow down what is cool for you. Drawing custom tattoos is what I do best - guessing is not.
I AM DRUNK AND ACTING RIDICULOUS, WILL YOU TATTOO ME?
NO. If you are drunk, broke, rude, or pregnant - please come back when you're not.
DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?
NO. Kindly contact me if you would like to have a consultation to talk about your ideas or make an appointment for your sessions.
ANOTHER ARTIST QUOTED ME THIS AMOUNT, CAN YOU MATCH THIS PRICE OR LOWER?
NO. There is a saying in this industry "The bitterness of a poor tattoo far outweighs the sweetness of a good price". Shop by portfolio not price. Trust your decision and invest in yourself.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE PRIOR TO BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOU?
I would recommend doing some research on the style of tattoos that you might prefer, including:
- References that might give me an idea of what you may like/are open to
- Coverage or intended size of artwork
- Any existing medical conditions, if any.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR BEFORE GETTING MY TATTOO DONE?
- Please refrain from drinking the night before your tattoo session as alcohol thins the blood which causes a lot of bleeding during the inking process.
- No drugs are allowed.
- Have ample of rest prior to your appointment
- Have a hearty breakfast/lunch before going for your tattoo session
- It is recommended to bring along some snacks, i.e: chocolate and tidbits
- No animals are allowed due to hygiene reasons
- No sun tanning prior to your tattoo session
- Please do take a shower and bring extra clothes if you perspire excessively
- Do bring along your electronic device charger and headphones for your own comfort
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW INK?
After your tattoo session, do not be alarmed if you are feeling under the weather, just have a good meal and drink lots of water.
Do keep the wrap on for at least 2 hours and remove it in a clean environment. Take a lukewarm shower and use unscented body wash and gently wash the new ink (wash your hands first). Please wear a clean set of clothes and be wary of ink stains from your new ink. Your bed sheets should be fresh, too. Apply unscented moisturizer 3 - 5 times daily with clean hands and avoid sun tanning and swimming. During your recovery period, refrain from picking on the scabs and intense exercise. The average healing time for each individual ranges between 2 - 4 weeks.
